Who Should Attend?
Mental health professionals interested in child and adolescent psychopathology and treatment of childhood mental health disorders should attend.  Recent basic and applied research and current treatment strategies will be described and evaluated. Attendance is for ISRCAP members and persons sponsored by an ISRCAP member.

Announcement of ISRCAP Travel Awards
for post-doctoral or junior faculty from underrepresented minorities  
The International Society for Research in Child and Adolescent Psychopathology (ISRCAP) announces the availability of travel awards to postdoctoral fellows, instructors or assistant professors from underrepresented minorities with a Ph.D. or M.D. in psychology, psychiatry or a related field to attend the ISRCAP Biennial Meeting June 15-18, 2011 in Chicago, IL. Funded by the National Institutes on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Child Health and Development (NICHD) and Mental Health (NIMH) and the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR) three travel awards ($1000 each) will be awarded and the award recipient’s registration fee for the conference will be waived.  ISRCAP was established in 1989 with the purpose of convening researchers in developmental psychopathology for biennial, highly focused meetings during which recent data on the causes, and course and prevention of mental disorders in children and adolescents are presented and discussed. Since it’s founding in 1989, ISRCAP has significantly expanded its membership in terms of numbers and representation. Today it is one of the leading scientific organizations devoted to the discovery of new knowledge on children’s mental health.
